Front Desk Reception - Maternity Coverage (Temp)

Location: Syosset, Long Island

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM

Pay Rate: $19-$20/hr (Paid Weekly)

Ultimate Staffing is partnering with an industry-leading law firm in Syosset, Long Island to fill a Front Desk Receptionist role for a maternity leave coverage assignment. This is an excellent opportunity for a polished, professional, and detail-oriented candidate seeking to gain experience in a respected legal environment.

The assignment is expected to begin late January to early February and run for several months.


Key Responsibilities

  • Greet clients and visitors with professionalism and warmth
  • Manage incoming calls and route them appropriately
  • Maintain organized front desk operations, including mail and package handling
  • Provide general administrative support to attorneys and staff
  • Maintain a tidy and professional reception area
  • Assist with scheduling, document handling, and office tasks as needed

Qualifications

  • Prior front desk, receptionist, or administrative experience
  • Professional and polished demeanor
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to multitask and manage a busy front desk environment
  • Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working a full-time schedule
